TalkTrap provides a unique and instant way for broadcasters to receive feedback from their listeners - anywhere, at anytime. From one centralized screen, you can view and manage comments from your listeners.

Setting Up Your Account

Once you create a TalkTrap account, you will be sent a username and password to access your account online. After logging in, you can manage every aspect of your TalkTrap account, from controlling what your listeners see when they submit feedback, to how you view their comments. Once logged in, you will also be able to create additional users for your account and control their permissions.

While you can login and edit your account immediately, you will not be able to start receiving feedback from your listeners until you select and pay for a TalkTrap subscription plan. There are several plans to choose from based on your usage and feature needs. You can cancel or upgrade your plan at anytime. Once you make a payment,
you will have immediate access to all of the TalkTrap features.


TalkTrap For Listeners

Using TalkTrap to send in comments, feedback, jokes and more is as easy as it gets. You promote your feedback address on your show (most shows use www.yourwebsite.com/feedback). Your listeners go to the site, fill out a simple form (name, location, and comment), and hit the send button! The website even remembers their name and location for future comments. That's all there is to it!

Customizing the look of your feedback submission form is easy. When you login to your account, you can edit all of the text, colors, and even images that appear to your listeners while they submit their comments. You can even integrate the feedback form into your existing website through the use of inline frames. (We're also testing a TalkTrap API to allow you to build forms on any website or application. In the near future, your listeners will also be able to send an email to feedback@yoursite.com to submit feedback. We will always work to develop new ways to help you and your listeners communicate more efficiently.


TalkTrap For Broadcasters

This is where TalkTrap really shines. While the listener-side is focused on simplicity, the broadcaster-side of TalkTrap is centered around offering options and power to give your show an edge.

Other feedback solutions have been thrown together and simply collect comments and display them. Our system has been built and tested extensively, with security and uptime in mind. TalkTrap runs on dedicated servers, and all feedback and user comments are subject to security filters to protect your account and the entire system from malicious comments.

When you login to your account, one click launches the TalkTrap Feedback Viewer. Here, you can view comments, flag comments for later discussion, clear comments, ban abusive or annoying users from posting comments, and customize your viewing screen colors, size, and more. You can even email any post to your email address with one click so you can view it or act on it later - like an easy-to-set reminder!

The features don't stop there. We're adding new features and tools to our system all the time.

Just keep the TalkTrap Feedback Viewer open while you do your show, and it will automatically update your screen with your listener's comments as they come in - in realtime! It's better than phones with a call screener because YOU filter the posts in your own time, on your own. If you have more than one host or producer, you can all be logged in to your account and view the feedback simultaneously. One producer or host can flag an item and it will instantly show up flagged on the other users screens.

With TalkTrap Pro, you can go back and view reports of all your comments for the month - even if you have cleared them from the viewer.
